Truked Radio System
A trunked radio system is used to maximize capacity in a two- way radio system. Trunking is used by many government entities to provide two-way communication. For fire-departments,police and other municipal services,who all share spectrum allocated to a city,county or other entity.Trunking radio does not use a dedicated channel for each individual group but uses a pool of of frequencies for different groups of users.
